Teri and her son

Teri was one of my first friends when I first arrived to Australia. We went to primary school together and I remember it like yesterday when we were playing “elastics”, “handball”, “cops and robbers”…. how carefree we were running around at lunch time. But as we finished primary school, I moved away. Through time, we lost touch and a few years later Teri moved to Sydney. For years we lived our separate lives, and that childhood friendship seemed a very distant memory.

One day I checked our stylinimages email, and there was a little email from Teri!!! She had found me through viewing Phuong and Lamson’s photoshoot, which she said she loved…and was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was the photographer who took those photos. She told me she had a 5 year old son, who she loves so much and feels he is growing up too quick and just wanted to cement these memories with some fun photos with him.

We had a fantastic day photographing as well as catching up…Teri, I hope every time you look back on these photos of you two, it will bring you a feeling of love and happiness.
